What's Up With the Elevator?!

What's Up With the Elevator?!

On July 22nd, 2014 the students of Boston University's Summer Challenge program walked themselves to Warren Tower's B after they afternoon seminars, a normal part of they daily routine, only to be meet by terrible news. Two of the three elevators were broken. Since last Monday, the girls of Tower B have seen themselves obliged to walk down stairs because the only working elevator couldn't satisfy people's needs.

Line of people waiting for the elevator to arrive this afternoon

One of the security guards, Ron, told us that apparently the elevators aren't actually broken, it's just that due to the constructions going on in the building  these are used to transport materials and such, leaving students without access  to them. He also shared that "usually when one of them breaks down, we make a quick call and they get fixed pretty soon. It happens from time to time"

Misra, students: "The broken elevator makes our daily lives so much slower! We have to wait for a long time, and usually end walking down stairs"

Emiliana, student: "It's so annoying! Like i'm always arriving late to call now because of this. Hopefully they will start working again soon!"

We really hope students are able to get access to the elevators soon!!
